Obedience
Dog sport obedience is a competitive activity where dogs and their handlers perform a series of exercises designed to demonstrate the dog’s obedience and skill. It’s a way to evaluate a dog’s ability to follow commands and work with their handler in various situations.
What will we learn in class?
This class is geared towards AKC and UKC Obedience skills.
Main focus: Precision Heeling, Sit and Stand for exams, group sit/down exercises.
What do I need to do before class?
Your dog needs to have taken our Intro to Rally course to be ready for this class. We do need your dogs current vaccination records prior to class.
Must have: Counterclockwise Pivot into heel skills, Zen Bowl (or wait until released to food), understanding of sit/down/stand in front of handler and in heel position, Understanding of front position, ability to work off leash in class setting.
What is your payment/cancellation/missed class policy?
For our 6-week classes there are not any make up opportunities for missed weeks. Once you progress into our drop-in classes, you are able to skip weeks and only attend when you can. As long as you give 48 hours notice, we will refund/credit you if you need to remove your registration for any reason.
