Getting Started with Behavioral Consulting

Step 1

The first step is to schedule your Discovery Call. Feel free to schedule online or reach out to us via phone at 847-235-2263 or use our form to request an appointment. Once we receive your request, we will get your call scheduled.

Step 2

While you are waiting for your call, you can complete our Intro to Fear, Reactivity & Aggression Online Course. This self-paced course will explain what Fear, Reactivity and Aggression are and what they can do to your dog’s physical and emotional states as well as your own.

Step 3

During your Discovery Call, we will discuss your dog’s challenges, current behaviors, triggers, previous training history, any questions you have and more. We will also formulate an overall management, training & behavior modification plan for you. We can also get you scheduled for your training sessions during that call.

Based on our discussion, we may have options available for you and your dog including:

Behavioral Consultation

If your dog is displaying aggression towards humans or other household pets, we will need to schedule a full Behavioral Consultation to start. During this appointment, we will do a deep dive into your current behavioral concerns and layout the full management, training and behavioral modification plan. Aggression is a serious behavioral concern and the entire family needs to be involved in the education process.

Follow-Up Sessions

During your follow-up sessions, you and the Behavior Consultant will work through your dog’s training plan. During each visit, we arrive and discuss how things have been going as well as answer any questions you may have. Then we will continue working through the plan we formulated. Changing behavior takes time, so please check our our packages below. We offer appointments in different amounts of time. Your trainer will suggest the best length, based on the specific needs of you and your dog.

60 minutes – $150.00
45 minutes – $125.00

Behavioral Packages

When it comes to behavioral issues, it almost always takes several sessions, so we have packages of 4 and 8 sessions. Please note: packages expire in 2 – 4 months.
