What Is Target Training?

Hand targeting is, by far, the most critical skill you can teach any dog, young or old. Want your dog to come when called? It is easier if he knows hand targeting! Want your dog to walk nicely on leash? It is really just a big game of following your hand target! Want your dog to greet without jumping up? Teach them to touch a hand instead!
