Create a Focused Adult Dog Quickly
About Lesson

Having an adult dog that exhibits “selective hearing” can be very frustrating. Puppies often tune out their owners when they reach adolescence. Why? Because we have blabbed at them for months, and inadvertently teach them to ignore us.

Dogs that tune out their owners are not being spiteful, stubborn, or trying to be difficult. They have simply learned to ignore their owner’s voice, feel that the “tone” of the owner signals trouble, are too distracted by something else, or are worried about their own personal safety.

In this course you will learn:

  • How to play a game that burns excess energy and creates re-orientation
  • How to teach your dog a foundation skill for focus
  • Tips to be successful
  • What to do if your dog isn’t focused
